Survival Crisis Z

Survival Crisis Z is a roleplaying and survival-horror game which takes place during a zombie apocalyse. It's isometric and pixel art mixed together to create such a game. It was developed by Ska Studios also known as James Silva and was hosted by totallyscrewed.net. You are a survivor in the middle of . It was designed with Microsoft Visual Basic. It can run on all systems that uses Microsoft Windows.

Prologue

Its the summer of '99, in the slum part of the city... hey it's all you can afford right now. Hot, rainy nights, unbearable humidity. Then things went weird...

Your neighbor's dog was usually a bit much, but biting a half pound chunk of flesh out of the mailman wasn't what you'd expected.

They put the mutt down, gave the poor mailman some rabies shots, it was a great story to tell at the bar.

But the next time you saw the mailman's eyes...

...vacant white... ...rimmed with crusted blood... ...maybe he was taking revenge on the neighbor.
You saw him sink his teeth into her neck.

He was making his rounds, she had come out to offer a batch of I'm-sorry-my-dog-bit-you cookies... when suddenly he began to convulse.
You saw it all from your second story window.

He twitched, coughed, puked. Then he lurched.

After that you spent quite a bit of time indoors. People were bit, then they changed. First it was a bloodbath, then it was a mob. Humans became the minority.

After a week of horrors, as seen through your window, you decided to return to what's left of society in hopes of, for starters, survival.

You equip yourself with the tools of the trade, along with some stuff you've picked up here and there, and head out into the chaos.

The Player

You are the only survivor who is very vestatile, better equipped and much more immuned to the zombie invasion. You can do anything fighting for either faction SWAT or Rebels for money or do the neutral mission which will advance the story plot.

Anything you want to do is your decision, and it also affects the gameplay but not the story.

Guns, Ammo, Food, Skills is all the various things to use in your fight.

Your immunity is an advantage on zombie swarms as when your health gauge drops to critical, you won't react like other survivors puking blood and maggots or turn into an Infected over a period of time from being infected.

You are also very proficient in running; the longer periods you spend running nonstop without shooting or getting hit, the faster you get. It is useful to get to a safehouse or run from a fight fast. The survivors who are in your party will still be with you no matter how far you get.

Arcade

By the developer, he has described it as Virtua Crack. You start off with unlimited pistol ammo with fast spawning zombies scoring points with no more going indoors. Many weapons spawn around the battlefield and powerups and will help you during the fight. Each new round gives you a small amout of health. Each round is random except round 2 which is always a dark round.

Rounds

Dark Round	The area is completely dark like night
Heavy Weapons	You shoot only heavy weapons in the round
Laser Tracers	All weapon now shoots deadly lasers
Pipebomb Pickup	Every pickup is a pipebomb, you only use a pistol

Power Ups

Thunder Head	Your head acts as a Tesla generator
Clone Sattelite	A fireball moves around you in a circle
Freeze Frame	Zombies and ammo shot moves extremely slow while you are unaffected
Shopping Cart	You ride in a shopping cart mowing down zombies
Fire Wall	A ring of fire protects you

To use, go to menu and type it down like "asteroids" without .exe

Modding

Due to being made in Visual Basic, it is very easy to mod Survival Crisis Z. It could actually be made less scary or more so. Probably can also be made more humorous. Inside there is a folder called gfx which means Graphics and sfx means Sound Effects. You can listen and recognize where it goes, and the pictures should be recognizable. You can just draw on it or replace it. The sounds can be replaced. The game however, is a lot harder to change so it will just be GFX and SFX. Mods can be found here. Feel free to add yours in.

Vista Fix

This also works with Windows 7 and has been known to work with Windows 10. Try setting compatibility mode to Windows XP Sp3 afterwards.
